Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp (16g) tomato paste
  • 1 tsp (5g) honey
  • 1 tsp (2g) freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp (1g) red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp (1g) garlic powder
  • ½ tsp (3g) sea salt
  • ½ cup (120ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup (60ml) red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Combine the tomato paste, honey, black pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and salt in a jar or mixing bowl. Whisk until a thick, smooth paste forms.
  2. Pour in the red wine vinegar and lemon juice. Stir vigorously until the tomato paste is fully dissolved into the acids.
  3. Slowly stream in the olive oil while whisking constantly, or seal the jar and shake vigorously for 30 seconds until the dressing is emulsified and velvety.
