Ingredients:
- 15 oz (425g) can white beans, drained and rinsed
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (120ml) buffalo wing sauce
- 1/2 cup (55g) ranch dressing mix (dry powder)
- 1/2 tsp (2g) garlic powder
- 1/4 cup (60ml) buttermilk or whole milk
- 1 cup (115g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup (50g) crumbled blue cheese
Instructions:
- Rinse the white beans in a colander to remove excess starch and keep the flavor clean.
- Place the beans in a mixing bowl and mash with a potato masher until mostly smooth but with a few chunky bits.
- Add the softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, dry ranch mix, garlic powder, and buttermilk to the mashed beans.
- Beat the mixture with a hand mixer until the batter is velvety and orange.
- Gently fold in the shredded sharp cheddar cheese using a spatula, being careful not to overmix.
- Spread the mixture evenly into an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese over the top in an even layer.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until the edges bubble and the top is mahogany colored. Optionally, use the broiler for the final 2 minutes for a more intense crust.
