Ingredients:

  • 4 slices (160g) whole-grain sandwich bread
  • 4 tbsp (64g) creamy sunflower seed butter
  • 3 tbsp (45g) strawberry jelly

Instructions:

  1. Lay two slices of bread flat on your workspace.
  2. Spread 2 tbsp (32g) of sunflower seed butter evenly across one slice, extending it nearly to the edges. Repeat for the second slice.
  3. Spoon 1.5 tbsp (22g) of jelly onto the center of one sunbutter-coated slice.
  4. Use your spatula to spread the jelly in a circle, leaving a ½-inch (1.2cm) border of sunbutter around the perimeter to act as a sealant.
  5. Place the second slice of bread (sunbutter side down) on top of the jelly.
  6. Position the star cutter firmly in the center of the sandwich. Press down with a quick, decisive motion until the cutter hits the board, twist slightly and lift to reveal the star.
