Ingredients:

  • 9 sheets (144g / 5.1 oz) graham crackers, crushed (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 113g (1/2 cup / 1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 56g (1/4 cup) granulated sugar
  • 340g (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 2 cups)
  • 113g (1/2 cup / 1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream (45 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (5 ml)
  • 227g (8 oz) marshmallows, cut into halves or quarters (about 4 cups)

Instructions:

  1. Line the 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. Combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar in a medium bowl. Press firmly into the prepared pan and set aside.
  3. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Alternatively, melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gently fold in marshmallows until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the chocolate marshmallow mixture over the graham cracker base and spread evenly.
  7. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  8. Remove the squares from the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into 16 squares and serve. Enjoy your No Bake Chocolate Marshmallow Squares!
