- ½ cup (100g) packed brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt (1.5ml)
- ½ cup (120ml) milk
- ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
- ½ cup (85g) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- ½ cup (85g) chocolate chips (optional)
- ¼ cup (40g) sprinkles (optional)
Instructions:
- Grind rolled oats in a food processor until finely ground (or use oat flour).
- In a large bowl, whisk together ground oats, cocoa powder, brown sugar, and salt.
- Stir in milk, melted butter (or coconut oil), and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and a thick dough forms.
- Gently fold in any desired mix-ins like nuts or chocolate chips (optional).
- Use a small ice cream scoop or spoon to portion the dough into bite-sized balls. Roll each ball between your palms to smooth the surface.
- Place the brownie bites on the prepared baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
- Once chilled, serve and enjoy! These are best stored in the refrigerator.
