Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 16 oz lump crab meat, drained and picked
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Ensure no cream cheese lumps remain.
  2. Stir in the Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, minced garlic, and smoked paprika until the mixture is a uniform color.
  3. Gently fold in the lump crab meat and half of the shredded cheddar cheese using a rubber spatula to keep crab chunks intact.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a 9x9 inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly with the back of a spoon.
  6. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the cheese on top is deep golden brown.
  8. Remove the dip from the oven.
  9. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  10. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the structure to set.
