Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces (approx. 5 oz / 140g each) Garlic Naan bread
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) pizza sauce
  • 8 oz (225g) fresh mozzarella pearls
  • 1/4 cup (10g) fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbsp (8g) grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the naan breads on the baking sheet and bake for 3 minutes to create a moisture barrier and ensure a crispy crust.
  3. Remove naan from oven and spread 2 tbsp (30ml) of pizza sauce evenly across each piece, leaving a 1/2 inch border.
  4. Arrange fresh mozzarella chunks evenly over the sauce and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  5. Return pizzas to the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and edges are golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, then top with fresh torn basil leaves and grated Parmesan.
