Ingredients:
- 4 pieces (approx. 5 oz / 140g each) Garlic Naan bread
- 1/2 cup (120ml) pizza sauce
- 8 oz (225g) fresh mozzarella pearls
- 1/4 cup (10g) fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp (15ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp (3g) sea salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) cracked black pepper
- 2 tbsp (8g) grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the naan breads on the baking sheet and bake for 3 minutes to create a moisture barrier and ensure a crispy crust.
- Remove naan from oven and spread 2 tbsp (30ml) of pizza sauce evenly across each piece, leaving a 1/2 inch border.
- Arrange fresh mozzarella chunks evenly over the sauce and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Return pizzas to the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and edges are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, then top with fresh torn basil leaves and grated Parmesan.
