Ingredients:
- 4 frozen hash brown patties
- 1 tsp high-heat oil (such as olive oil or avocado oil) dispensed via spray or brush, total
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for at least 3 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Lightly brush or mist both sides of the frozen hash brown patties with oil. A thin sheen is sufficient. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure there is no overlap to allow air circulation (work in batches if necessary).
- Air fry for 7 minutes. Open the basket, flip the patties, and continue cooking.
- Air fry for an additional 8 minutes, or until the patties are deeply golden brown and have achieved the desired crispy exterior.
- Remove the hash browns immediately from the air fryer and serve hot. Season generously with additional salt if desired.
