Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup (120ml) 2% milk
- 1 tablespoon (12g) chia seeds
- 1/4 cup (60g) plain non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon (7g) maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
Instructions:
- In a 16 oz wide-mouth Mason jar or airtight container, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, and sea salt. Stir the dry ingredients briefly to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed and won't clump.
- Add the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the jar.
- Stir the mixture vigorously using a spoon or silicone spatula until no dry pockets of oats remain at the bottom of the jar.
- Let the jar sit on the counter for 2 minutes to allow the chia seeds to begin absorbing liquid, then give it one final stir.
- Seal the container with a lid and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or overnight, to allow for full hydration and cold-steeping.
