Ingredients:
- 4 (approx. 6 oz / 170g each) Salmon Fillets
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar, packed
- 1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Prepare the Compound Butter: In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, paprika, onion powder, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly until uniform.
- Season Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets very dry using paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush the fillets with olive oil and season sparingly with salt and pepper.
- Apply Topping: Generously spread an equal amount of the herb butter mixture over the top surface of each salmon fillet, creating a nice thick crust.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 12–15 minutes.
- Check Doneness: Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork, or reaches an internal temperature of 140°F–145°F (60°C–63°C).
- Rest & Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for 2 minutes before serving immediately.
