Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 mozzarella string cheese sticks, halved lengthwise
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and water, simmering until the liquid has completely evaporated.
  3. Remove from heat and let the meat cool slightly to prevent the dough from melting prematurely.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle and cut into 8 equal strips.
  5. Place one tablespoon of seasoned beef, a sprinkle of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and one half-stick of mozzarella in the center of each strip.
  6. Fold the sides inward and pinch the seams tightly to create a secure seal.
  7. Arrange the sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops generously with the melted garlic butter mixture.
  9. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes until the crust is mahogany-colored and the edges are crisp.
