Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 mozzarella string cheese sticks, halved lengthwise
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water, simmering until the liquid has completely evaporated.
- Remove from heat and let the meat cool slightly to prevent the dough from melting prematurely.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle and cut into 8 equal strips.
- Place one tablespoon of seasoned beef, a sprinkle of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and one half-stick of mozzarella in the center of each strip.
- Fold the sides inward and pinch the seams tightly to create a secure seal.
- Arrange the sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the tops generously with the melted garlic butter mixture.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes until the crust is mahogany-colored and the edges are crisp.
