Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 4 pieces naan bread
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your broiler to high.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the naan from sticking.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together the olive oil, minced garlic, and salt until well combined.
  4. Place the naan pieces on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush the garlic oil evenly across the top of each naan, reaching all the way to the edges.
  6. Layer the fresh mozzarella slices evenly over the oil.
  7. Distribute the halved cherry tomatoes on top of the cheese and sprinkle with black pepper.
  8. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or broil for 3–5 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden-brown and the edges are crisp.
  9. Remove from the oven and let rest for 60 seconds.
  10. Scatter the fresh, torn basil leaves over the top.
  11. Finish with a zig-zag drizzle of balsamic glaze across each pizza.
