Ingredients:
- 2 oz gin
- 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.75 oz honey syrup (equal parts honey and water)
- 1 lemon twist
Instructions:
- Prepare the honey syrup by combining 0.5 oz honey and 0.5 oz warm water. Stir until dissolved and let cool.
- Add 2 oz gin, 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.75 oz of the prepared honey syrup into a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with large ice cubes until the tin is three quarters full. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is frost-bitten and cold.
- Double strain the mixture through a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh sieve into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass.
- Express a lemon peel over the glass to release aromatic oils and garnish with a lemon twist.
