Ingredients:

  • 1 medium (approx. 40g) flour or whole wheat tortilla
  • 2 tbsp (32g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 medium (approx. 120g) ripe banana

Instructions:

  1. Lay the tortilla flat on your cutting board. Note: This ensures a level surface for spreading.
  2. Use the back of a spoon or a knife to spread the peanut butter in an even layer.
  3. Leave about a ½ inch (1.3cm) margin around the edges. Note: This prevents the butter from oozing out the sides.
  4. Place the peeled banana at one end of the tortilla.
  5. Carefully lift the edge of the wrap and roll it tightly around the banana.
  6. Apply firm pressure as you roll until there are no air gaps.
  7. Seal the seam using the peanut butter already on the wrap.
  8. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice the roll into 1 inch (2.5cm) rounds.
  9. Use a swift, downward motion until the slice is clean and round.
